A tugboat (tug) is a boat that maneuvers vessels by pushing or towing them. Tugs move vessels that either should not move themselves, such as ships in a crowded harbor or a narrow canal, or those that cannot move by themselves, such as barges, disabled ships, log rafts, or oil platforms. Tugboats are powerful for their size and strongly built, and some are ocean-going. Some tugboats serve as icebreakers or salvage boats. Early tugboats had steam engines, but today most have diesel engines. Many tugboats have firefighting monitors, allowing them to assist in firefighting, especially in harbors.
And so the harbour takes another step towards being complete, as the houses spring up, and our much-anticipated 16-acre public park starts marching over the hill... Nice.
Another month, another step closer to the harbour going electric. Still a building site in parts, but, hey, omlette, eggs, and all that jazz...
It's April, so, that means the fourth of our monthly video diary sweeps across the ongoing works at Greystones harbour - as SISK slowly turn it into a state-of-the-art marina... As you can see, Monday April 11th 2016 was a wet day. A very wet day.

Another month, another step towards the oul' harbour being reinvented and reinvigorated...
The Sodor Symphony Version! I think this sounds a lot better than my actual replication. This theme is very fun to work with and I might use it as a base for a new original theme coming soon. It's been a year, kids, since we first stated our month-by-month video diary of the reconstruction of Greystones' harbour. And, hey, it's getting there. It's going to be fascinating to look back in another year at just how far we've come, especially when our big kick-ass public park arrives on the scene...

What a difference a month makes... Another entry in our monthly video diary of the Marina Village development down at Greystones harbour. We reckon this one is October. Got a little sidetracked, and didn't mark each one. So, you know, suck it and see.
